YOUR SON'S JOURNEY STARTS HERE

Thank you for considering St Patrick's College for your son!

We’re excited to welcome new families into our community, where we shape Men of Action with a strong foundation in education, leadership, and personal growth.

We primarily welcome students into Year 5 with limited enrolments for Year 7.  Additional placements in other year levels are offered depending on availability.

Enrolment interviews for both Year 5 and Year 7 take place two years prior to the intended year of entry.

How to Apply

Step 1 – Lodge an Expression of Interest

We encourage families to submit an Expression of Interest at any time. This initial step does not constitute an official application.  Our Enrolments Office will make contact when formal applications are open.

If you are interested in seeing the College, you are welcome to schedule a tour with our Enrolments Officer or attend our Open Day and upcoming Twilight tours to explore our vibrant learning environment.

Step 2 – Lodge an Application

Two years prior to your son’s intended start year, the College will provide login credentials to complete an official Application for Enrolment. Required documents include:

  • Birth Certificate number
  • Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
  • Most recent school reports
  • NAPLAN test results
  • Immunisation records
  • Learning support documentation (if applicable)
  • Signed authority for the College to contact your son/s current school if required

To ensure we have the most up-to-date information, families will be required to update these documents on a regular basis.

A non-refundable fee of $150 will accompany the Application for Enrolment.

Step 3 – Enrolment Consultation

Once your application has been processed, successful applicants will be invited to attend an enrolment consultation. Families will receive instructions on how to book their consultation via our online booking system.

During the consultation, we will provide a detailed overview of the ethos, values and educational approach of St Patrick's College. This is also an opportunity for families to demonstrate their commitment to these practices and ask any questions about the College experience.

Step 4 – Offer & Acceptance

Following the consultation process, letters of offer will be emailed.  This will occur in the last week of Term 1 for the Year 7 intake and the last week of Term 3 for Year 5 (approximately 18 months before the year of entry).

If enrolment places reach capacity, a waiting list will be created.  Should a vacancy arise, we will promptly reach out to waitlisted applicants.

Families can accept the letter of offer through our online system. This process requires the payment of a non-refundable $500 confirmation fee.

Please note: Offers are only valid for the year of application. If families prefer a later start (e.g., deferring from Year 5 to Year 7), their son will need to re-enter the selection pool with other Year 7 applicants.

Step 5 - Orientation

Throughout the year prior to your son's first day at St Patrick’s College, we will:

  • Request updated reports and health/family details
  • Invite your family to key College events to foster connection
  • Host an Experience Day for parents and students in Term 3 to ensure a smooth transition
